One-on-One Coaching

One-on-One Coaching

A Unique Coaching Relationship

HGC believes we are better together and that we often need someone to help us reach the next goal. Our professional coaches lead you through a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires you to maximize your personal and professional potential, coaching not through a rote curriculum but to the goal you set.

Most of our coaching relationship last one year and meet for one hour on a bi-weekly basis via zoom.us.  Each of these relationships also include full email and phone support in between calls.  We encourage our coaches to make at least one onsite visit so they can more fully understand the ministry context and culture of the church. We offer six different types of coaching so as to best equip each leader.

What coaching is right for you?

Leadership

Leadership coaching seeks to help a pastor or leader break through a leadership lid they are bumping up against.  They are typically one year relationships that meeting on a bi-weekly basis.

Church Covenant

This coaching relationship is most often focused on helping a church create a new life cycle by addressing one or more of the seven S’s of church health.  It is two years in duration with a bi-weekly rhythm.

Multiplier/Church Planter

The focus of these relationships is helping a church multiplier launch a new church or campus. A coach will come along side the coachee on that journey and give resources and advice. They are one or two year relationships and meet with a bi-weekly rhythm.

Assessment

Assessment coaching often follows a HGC individual assessment where some clear coaching points have been identified.  These coaching points guides the assessment coaching through a 3-6 month relationship that is very customized based on the needs.

Living On Purpose

The goal of this one to two month coaching relationship is to guide a coachee to develop their personal purpose and a vision, mission, and set of associated values.  Living On-Purpose coaching is typically seven one hour sessions through a specific curriculum.

Church On-Purpose

Church On-Purpose is much like a living on purpose coaching relationship instead here the focus in on a church.  The goal is to help a church identify it’s purpose.  And then, develop a vision and mission statement, along with some supporting values.  This can be accomplish in eight one hour coaching sessions or onsite in a retreat setting.  It too has a curriculum that guides the process to the mentioned outcomes.
